Do families know what other family played what card on them?
For example, if one card is directed at Aristophanes to "go give Borja all your stuff," but it was actually Axum, framing Borja, would they know?
Also, When should we play out what's been played on us? In the same thread that the other character submitted the card, or is there a "you must now do this" post coming up after each day?
No, OOCly everything is non anon for sake of, being able to play. But ICly everything is anon. You don't know who played what cards.
Once you have 'received' the card, as is you see it played on your family, you can play with it immediately. there wont' be any further prompts until this day is over and the next begins.
there are null and reflect cards to protect yourself, but no other way, and those can only be played on one house, so they would nullify or reflect any attack coming your direction from the house you played against.
and no, if that is still in the rules i need to remove it, but houses playing cards on each other don't automatically nullify. you can't buy protection with points.
Dumb question! But, JUST FOR THE RECORD... how much effort do we have to put into, say, staying alive after a limb removal?
Like obviously that's something really easy to die from IRL. It seems to do it effectively, making a deal with Axum for medical supplies would probably be necessary. Maybe some sort of access to fire to burn the wound shut too? But can we also handwave it with "my character ties a rope around their arm to stop the bleeding because they're THAT TOUGH and also gonna wallow in pain forever, ow."?
What does "betrayal" mean in the context of "betray your team" as a task? Which of the following would count:
1. attacking a teammate. 2. going and telling another team a strategic secret about your team. (Like, Uruk was trying to ally with Aristophanes.) 3. abusing a teammate by telling him/her what you REALLY think about them.

Do you need to spend points, or play a card on the family that played one on you to cancel it out, or did I read it wrong?

'betrayal' is deliberately left vague. if you feel like you betrayed your team you probably did. if you eel like you didn't, you probably didn't!
